WHY DO I NEED A BESPOKE WEBSITE DESIGN…..WHY NOT USE A TEMPLATED SITE?
There’s nothing wrong with templated websites, my first site was created within WIX but it took me weeks to find my way around the software and I already have design knowledge.
The trouble with templated sites is that unless you really understand design & layout, you may end up with a workable website but one that doesn’t really reflect your YOU or your brand.
Engaging a professional designer will ensure that the website fully reflects your brand aesthetic and that the imagery, functionality and copy has been especially chosen with your business in mind. The end result will look professional and totally unique to you. Afterall, You are your brand and YOU ARE UNIQUE!
You also have to be sure that your website functions and looks great on all devices and web browsers and that can be problematic and never an exact science. Templated websites are great in the short term but as your business grows, you may require changes or tweaks to that site that extend beyond the parameters of a standardised template blueprint.
Suppose you require a booking system, audio insert or online shop..It’s reassuring to know that assuming you have a good relationship with your designer (let’s face it, you wouldn’t have engaged them in the first place if you didn’t) you can just get on the phone and talk through your changes or requirement safe in the knowledge that they’ll handle the job for you.
